Popplet is a tool that allows users to plot their ideas and create their very own virtual bulletin board. You can add videos, texts, images and more to convey knowledge or understanding of a selected topic. Using Popplet, both students and teachers can make graphic organizers, timelines, and other forms of visual organization.
I think it is a very useful tool because I found it easy to use, accessible and visually appealing. I created a presentation on my favourite film 'The Shawshank Redemption', but it can also be used as an effective brainstorming tool because it organizes thoughts and ideas clearly. It may not be as engaging and captivating to younger students like Bitstrips, but I think Popplet can be an effective tool in the classroom and used in a variety of ways. I would definitely endorse the use of this application in schools today.
